A group of long-time friends, very different from each other but united by a deep love for their Valley, have come together with their most disparate passions and passions, with the intention of transmitting the emotions they felt, in reading the book and see the film by Paolo Cognetti, an elusive but present friend.

Hi, I'm Anna, born in Argentina but who chose Val d'Ayas as her favorite base camp. Always a lover of nature and mountains in particular, I have been a cattle breeder, farmer, librarian, employee, worked in various sectors in tourism and therefore environmental hiking guide. I like reading, immersing myself in the peace-giving silence of the mountains, looking around, taking care of my gardens, my orchard and walking, walking, walking.

Hi, I'm Silvia and I'm one of the Environmental Excursion Guides who will accompany you along the paths of this beautiful Tour.
I am a curious, sunny person who never ceases to be amazed... especially when immersed in the beauty of the mountains and the many uncontaminated places that the Val d'Ayas offers us!
I am passionate about medicinal herbs and natural remedies, I am a Yoga teacher and I lead Shinrin-Yoku sessions (forest bathing).
For me, nature is a truly precious resource that can feed us, regenerate us and help us bring out the best in ourselves.
I will be very happy to share with you what the mountain and this valley have taught me, and I can't wait to guide you to discover the wonderful places that inspired the book and the film 'Le Otto Montagne'!

I'm Michele, born and raised in Ayas with many passions, first of all the mountains, books, travelling, photography.
I closely followed the shooting of the film Le Otto Montagne, also doing the stunt double in some scenes, together with my mule Margherita, getting passionate about the world of cinema.

I'm Chantal, I was born in Aosta and I've always lived in Brusson. I manage a B&B and have been a regional tour guide for more than 25 years. I deeply love my region, the mountains and nature, for work and attitude I like to tell my territory and its traditions.
My passion is walking, I like to discover every corner of the Aosta Valley and I have an attraction for abandoned villages and less known and popular places.

Hi, I'm Barbara and I manage the restaurant "Babette's Lunch" in Estoul. I will prepare a tasty picnic for you but don't worry... Margherita and Roy will carry it!
